About Me

My name is Dan Gayhart, and I'm a freelance Macintosh Consultant based out of Green Bay, Wisconsin.

I grew up using computers; my very first computer was a Macintosh LC/Performa 550 and I have been working with computers professionally for over 10 years. Most recently I have dedicated my focus to the Macintosh platform after years of frustrating programming and administrative work with Windows PCs.

I've been using the Macs since system 7.5 (released in 1994) right up through to the latest Mac OS X release of 10.7 (Lion). My product familiarity stretches from the original Macintosh up to today's Intel Macs; and everything inbetween.

Having worked for a commercial publisher/newspaper (in a mixed Mac & PC environment) as Director of Technology, and other Mac tech support positions over the years; I am aware of the kinds of troubleshooting issues Mac users (both professional and novice) encounter everyday. I work closely with other experienced Apple consultants to overcome challenging issues.
